Ask And You Shall Receive

The fabulous Ms Lisa asked for FO Colinette Throw picture so here it is:throwfinit.jpg

I did not attach the fringing per company’s request. In the corner of that picture you can see my little plastic box I have my WIPs in–the socks mentioned before and the K1C2 Hooded Color Blocks Cardigan for children. Here is the back slightly off center:

And here is one half of front already connected to back:Image14.jpg

I have about 7 more rows of the right front to do and then sleeves, bands and hood. ACK! Its due this week. TTFN

Struggling

halfthrow.jpg
I feel like such a whiner lately but I am getting discouraged. This is less than half the throw and as far as I am concerned it should be done done done. The colors are lovely and the pattern is easy peasy fun as pie. Antique colorway in Scallops option which just happens to be the one I have been eyeing since the pattern came out. Doesn’t it look as if it belongs on my ‘Wisteria’ couch? Of course it does. But still I do not understand why I am not finished yet.

The Good And The Bad

I am working on the Colinette throw and no real progress to show. I cut my pointer finger on left hand with steak knife and its oh so painful and slow to get my knitting done. I also decided to order shorter needles for my project I showed you the other day so that is on hold for a couple of days.

The good news is lots of fibery activities planned in the coming weeks. Neatby this weekend, the Music and Textile Festival and Danial Boone House next weekend[with Rick Reeves appearing yay!], and then MS&W the next weekend. Is it possible to overload on fibery goodness? I think not.

The Man in Brown

ABFABTHROW.jpg
Don’t you just love the man in brown? He always brings nifty packages. This from Unique Colours–Absolutely Fabulous Throw Kit in Antique. No due date given that I can find but gonna start winding right away. Ooooooooo can’t wait to begin! The cowl needs 10 more rounds and the socks are halfway done. Grumble grumble grumble on socks. The cowl is dreamy. Pics coming soon.
